I thought that twilight was exciting and enjoyable to watch (with an attractive cast!). However, it lacked some things that many readers were looking for. There was really very little chemistry built up, and the book was first and foremost, a love story. Also, some scenes were random and not in the book, and some omitted scenes were sorely missed. I did like many parts of the movie, however as a whole the scenes were too short and didn't capture the emotions of the book. Edward is sexy but also very gentlemanly and enigmatic, something utterly lacking in the movie. Bella is witty, smart and passionate, something that Kristen Stewart completely fails to capture. The beginning was too rushed, but the end was very true to the story.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
