I expected a good deal going into this movie. I was a fan of the first, despite its obvious cliches and tricks, and expected the second to fix those bearable problems. Unfortunately, Michael Bay decided it wise to expand upon them, creating a two and a half hour monstrosity of tasteless, often cheaply carnal jokes, racism, and, once again, confusing monochrome robot fights. Sadly, not even monstrous robots fighting can make up for the entire lack of any sort of driving force in this movie. Of course, there is a demographic for this movie, because it is in nature, shiny and large. But its alternating scenes of running, driving, humping, and running wear thin very quickly in the movie. Needless to say, I was terribly disappointed.
