I was very excited to see the movie! Like most books made into movies, there was a lot left out. The screen writer definately took liberty with some of the plot. Overall, I thought it was a good movie. If you don't read the book there are parts that can be confusing. It is obvious who has the book, as they are the ones laughing at scenes that aren't that funny. But because they know what written, it makes sense to them. Not a perfect 5, some of the acting just was too much.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
