The movie nearly 100% reflected the book which I was really happy to see. I so dislike when they change movies and make them different from the book. As for the film itself, it was excellent, how beautiful is true love. Now I can't wait for Part II, I can't believe we have to wait a whole year for the end which I also wish would never happen. I would love to see a TV series based on this story.

First, this is one of a very few films which actually was the book. The story was very real and if you know anything about our country's history, then you know that the story was real life in the south during those times. I haven't cried that much about anything in years. The cast was terrific. Its hard to believe that humans can be so cruel, and proves its all about how you are raised. We are afterall a product of our upbringing. I highly recommend this movie, it was very realistic and entertaining.
