We saw this movie in 3D and couldn't have enjoyed it more! I would say there are parts of it that would be too scary for very young children. It's very true to the original story and Jim Carrey does a fantastic job with the character of Scrooge.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is the neighborhood that my grandparents/great grandparents grew up in, the church my parents were married in. Clint Eastwood was fantastic in this movie and definitely one of my favorites of his. The drama was great and the there was great flow of down and up's in the movie that held you on to the end. One of the things I liked most is the unexpected turns of events, this movie is not predictable and the previews did a great job of hiding those! Very well done Clint and if you haven't seen it yet - its a MUST SEE!
