I loved it and I thought that it was a great adaptation of the book, especially coming from a new production studio that was only given a small budget. With a bigger budget the effects probably could have looked better, but with the budget and the short amount of time they had filming, they did really well. Twilight fans may be divided, but that's typical for any book to movie adaptation. Yes, they'll change things in the movie and they did, but they did it WELL! Most book to movie adaptations are choppy, but Twilight had a good flow. Other Twilight fans loved it! We went in there with lower expectations than most of the screaming girls and found the movie quite enjoyable, cast well considering, and done very well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
