Unexpected...

When I came to see this movie I must admit I did not have high expectations after seeing the travesty that was "Twilight", as an avid reader the movie disapointed. Not so with 'New moon', the acting was marginally better, the chemistry more intense, the script more true to the book, the CGI incredible... thatnk you Chris Weitz for taking this sseries to where it should have been all along! I give it four instead of five for any tiny mistakes... but overall.. I will see again!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Love the Book? Don't watch this movie!

I must admit I am a HUGE fan of the books and was anxiously waiting for this movie to come out. I watched a few clips and wasn't really impressed but thought "Hey it's bound to be good". If they could get it to be at least 60% as good as the book I would be satisfied.
I got tickets for midnight & I was in shock from the beginning, everything was different. The movie was super confusing- one min. he hates her, next their dating, then she flees... where was the romance, the subtle looks that made this forbidden love story memorable?
The acting was laughable, the filming was cheesy, the action was droll... what happened?
I am so not looking forward to seeing "New Moon" - I'll settle for putting my nose in the books twenty times over!
