I LOVE the books! This movie was all over the map in terms of plot. They didn't develop the characters enough and "Bella" looked bored on screen. She's supposed to be madly in love with Edward and she didn't even look interested! They left out alot of key information about vampire history, specifically where Carlisle came from. That's information you'll need for the rest of the series. Having said that, I liked alot of the action and panoramic shots, "Edward", "Alice" and "Jacob" did a great job. I wanted to see some things that were in the book, but not in the movie. I would reccomend it to other fans, you may have to see it more than once to segregate the book from the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
