Read the books first...

I thought it was a wonderful movie in conjunction with the books, although I agree with a lot of other people who say that it was rushed. I don't know if I got the full effect of the love between Edward and Bella from the movie. I thought it was fairly well done though, considering that you can only get so much in a movie. There are also a lot of very funny moments with smirks and inside jokes that would only be understood by a person who already has background knowledge in the characters' personalities and abilities by reading the book. Overall, I don't think the movie would be quite as enjoyable to a person who hasn't read the book than one who has. Otherwise, it was still a GREAT movie!
