My daughter and I loved the movie. I don't usually like movies after I have read the book. This was one of the exceptions. Harry Potter is the other exception.They did leave out a few parts I felt were important to the movie. But over all it was fantastic. I want to see it again. I can't wait until the next movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
