For fans of the book as well as total newcomers, I know both types who went to see the film and loved it! It hit on all the major highs from the books, had a lot of suspense and, I think, tells the story of Edward and Bella in such a great way. It really sets up the next movie (movies, hopefully) and I can't wait to see New Moon next!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
