Books are always better than the movie.
I was hoping the movie would pull off the 'special intense relationship between Bella and Edward, but if I hadn't read the book, I would not have got that from the movie. They played it like a regular high school crush. I thought Kristen Stewart did a fine job, Rob Pattinson is gorgeous but needs to work on some acting skills. He wasn't horrible but not great. I liked the rest of the cast and hope they are more developed in future movies.
