The maturity and responsibility level goes up, as in the books, and this is captured well. The teen romance is just right. The characters are more settled and real, not so theatrical and odd. The special effects are much better. The quidditch game is awesome.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

Light, fun, appropriate, morally pleasing, sweet.
Left you with a nice feeling of love and integrity.
Not trashy, not gross, thank you very much.
