12-year-olds loved it

I took a group of 6 12-year-old girls and they LOVED it! It was just enough scary/sad/heartwarming/cute for them to enjoy it. They all cried and thought the boy was a "hottie." Not terrible for adults to sit through.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I thought this movie did justice to the book, especially in the casting. The two leads are exactly as I pictured them and they are magnetic and alluring, especially Edward! The bad guys are not too bad to scare my younger (11) daughter, who loved the books and desperately wanted to see the movie. Only concern is that Bella would die for someone she loves--it was a superficial handling and could be misconstrued. But to heck with critics who say this is old-fashioned or portrays a fear of sex--these are young people with urges but they are kind and loving and connected just enough to be realistic to young fans. I loved it!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
