If you are a Johnny Depp or Angelina fan, you will like this movie. I could tell from the beginning who was who. I liked Johnny Depp's comedic turn but I missed the back story and the movie was too slow in developing. Lack of action. I liked the interaction but not a very exciting movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

A visually stunning movie

I was initially nervous about this movie because of the cost of the special effects but my concerns were quickly allayed. This was an excellent story. George Lucas should take lessons on pairing great special effects with a great story. I was able to release myself into this movie while enjoying the 3D effects. There was acting going on in this movie. I loved how the real actors were paired with the computer graphics seamlessly. I would recommend this movie and will probably be going to see it again.

A very Important subject

I'm not sure how much was fiction or fact but this is such an important subject matter. This movie deals with child abuse, and mental illness in such a palpable way that you forget it is a movie. Monique who I love made me hate her for real. Her passionate portrayal of an obvious schizophrenic brought truly to life the pain that goes on in the inner city. I felt that everyone in this movie gave honest and realistic portrayals and I would love to see all again on the big screen.
