Only if you read the books. I think If you hadn't you might be a little confused about this girl just all of a sudden falling in love with this vampire for no particular reason. There was stuff there that can only be understood if you read the book. Fun to watch the book come to life. It was pretty good. I was impressed with the actors, I thought it was going to be this huge cheesball romance that ruins the book but it held its own. Worth watching if you fan.If you haven't seen this movie. I suggest you do it sometime when the little girls are in school. I went to see it opening day and I swear those little girls would not shut up! I'm a huge fan and was probably as excited as them but I wasn't inconsiderate to the audience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
