While I did enjoy this movie and love the saga, although it seemed to me like the director was trying a little too hard to tap into the 'artsy' vibe. It strays from the book but not badly - I am, however, concerned about how far the sequal 'New Moon' will stray. Not to spoil the story for anyone who hasn't read it yet - but Edward doesn't show up nearly as much in the second book. The story instead focusses on Jacob and I'm somewhat concerned that the 'New Moon' adaptaion will change that drastically to appease Edward fan girls. But that's another concern for another time.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
