Although I do understand why this movie would be for some people and not for others. I must say that I found it extremely enjoyable to watch and felt like I was actually watching the play. It definitely was one of those movies where you need to watch the whole thing to really grasp the story and you need to pay attention. I love the period, costumes and songs. There is a moral to the movie and its all about narcissism and greed on DDL's charcter's part. Overall, I loved this movie and cannot wait to see it again, as well as, download the music.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I found this movie to do an excellent job of showing both sides, both causes, both wrongs and both rights of each party. It was well filmed and extremely engaging. It was so interesting to learn about Martin's experience and see his hesitance to join either side and being torn between right, wrong, country and family. Well done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
