A Great Movie

I thought the movie was very good. As is often the case it was not as good as the book, but I truly enjoyed the film. My greatest disappointment however was the lack of character development. So little time was spent on developing truly important characters such as Alice. I think the waitress in the diner that Bella and Charlie ate at had more lines than Alice who is a pivotal character to the entire series. Additionally, they strayed from the book and added several scenes for James, Victoria and Laurent instead of going into more depth on Edward and Bella's relationship. Despite any of its shortfalls, the film is definitely worth seeing. And of course, fingers are crossed for an extended edition dvd.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
