I was anxious for this movie like many who have read the series. I thought the angst between Bella and Edward didn't really materialize. Lack of chemistry between the two actors possibly. I laughed in places I wasn't expecting. Overall, I think there were too many characters and not enough time to develop them on screen. But for what it's worth, I would recommend it for the comparison between the book and the screenplay. My friends thought it was corny overall. I thought it was just okay.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
