This movie grabs you within 10 minutes and doesn't let you go until the credits are rolling. The driver of Avatar is its' idea that only natives have the kind of respect for life that make them more worthy of living, while the humans are greedy and less principled. Certainly not a new genre but Avatar pulls it off with an incredibly unique and moving story of love, war, and how the choices we make at the moment of truth aren't really hard ones at all; because these choices truly define what is in our hearts. The special effects, production efforts, and 3-D animation are impressive, indeed. But the story and actors are what make this movie great. And that's the way in should be with truly great films.
