Right off the bat, I have to say, if I had never read the book, I would have enjoyed the movie more. I was dissapointed by the heavy condensing of the story, leaving out I thought to be crucial details, dumbing down Bella's classmates, taking away the depth of almost all the characters, even Edward and Bella. maybe I expected too much. The actors themselves talked about a "spark" between the leads, I felt that did not translate on the screen, I felt that so much more reading the book, the sensual tension, the emotions were absent in the movie. I'm sorry to say I am dissapointed in this film, I wanted so much for it to be everything the book gave to me.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
