Not nearly as good as the book. They should have done a TV series instead of a feature film. There just wasn't enough time to fit the characters and story line together. Their relationship happened too fast in the movie for me to believe that they were serious about eachother. It felt like I was watching a preview for the book instead. Kinda disappointing.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
