I very much enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't what I expected. The movie was full of symbolism and it definitely showed the fragility and dark side of the human psyche.
I would recommend this movie but its not for the weak of spirit or stomach.

Obviously it left alot of details out from the book, but overall I thought it was done well. I saw it twice over the weekend and found myself just as engrossed in the movie the second time around. My eleven year old daughter "loved it."
Yes, I recommend this movie.
