The deviation from the original story-line is quite intriguing and adds a much-appreciated refreshing twist to the story so as to not be a total copy of the animated series, and where things needed to stay the same, they were well done. Granted this movie does not do full justice to its world-wide success animated series counterpart, much credit given to Shyamalan for taking a 20-episode long season and condensing it into 1 hour 43 minutes of important details. The scenery and special effects make up for the sometimes awkward dialog quickly. Overall, I'd say STOP THE HATING because the movie exceeds expectations by a long-shot and do see this movie at least once.
The best Harry Potter film by far..hilarious and entertaining. The acting was outstanding and the characters were quite attractive ;) But I feel like as far as plotlines are concerned, the movie did not do justice to the creativity of JKR. Major plotlines were left out and the focus of the movie seemed more to be on teen love than the serious adventures of Harry and Dumbledore or Malfoy's doings.
