Go for the 3D, stay for the Indoctrination

The visuals were amazing and out of this world, saw on IMAX. But the story got extremely political and preachy, left wing as typical, which literally pulled me out of the experience. Didn't give good backstory for the company/soldiers being there or why "unobtanium" is valuable. (unobtanium = goofy name for mineral, too. could've called it hardtofindium)
In the end, the world he created is amazing so its worth checking out to see how film is changing before us, & if you're a liberal you'll love the storyline, but conservatives be prepared. Cameron doesn't give the soldiers the same treatment as other military characters in had 80s/90s work, as a result delivering an anti-war message wrapped up in a giant treehug.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
