Denzel is intense in this dystopian drama! I loved the premise of this loner crossing America on foot in a post-Word War III world full of violence and strife, a sun scorched Earth, and societal normalcy that includes cannibalism.
Denzel's character possesses the most powerful Book on earth -- The Holy Bible, and it's the only Bible left on the planet. Evil people want to possess it to control those living in chaos with evil intentions. Denzel's character has a mission to deliver the Book to people who will use it to instill hope, love, and a new life in a world full of murderers, rapists, cannibals, thieves, tyrannts and heartless thugs.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
