From my experience, the movie in it's entirety was excellent. Sure, the special effects weren't top-notch, but then again they didn't have much of a budget. The cast was excellently selected, getting VERY close to the appearance and personality of each character.Don't bother comparing the movie to the book. The movie left out some parts, and added others. They added more humor to the movie, and let some of the romantic parts go. In return, they made the remaining romantic scenes more steamy than the book describes them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
