I'm a little at odds with the film. I felt it was done well, true to the book and the actors played their roles brilliantly; though, I felt the love story was not developed enough. The love between Edward and Bella in the film was not very believable and left those who have not read the books only seeing the surface of their relationship (which without knowing where their love truly stems from by reading the books, looks like a big ball of cheese). Plus, I have to agree with the critics, the special effects were just embarrassing. As I said, there were aspects that were executed very well, and then there were aspects done a little half-assed. I think if this film had a larger budget it had the potential of being brilliant.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
