If you haven't read the book, you might not get most of the funny scenes in the movie. However, Edward Cullen is one constant funny scene, so that makes up for it. Robert Pattinson is an attractive man but really has a problem delivering his lines. The scenes work really well until he opens his mouth. The movie does a good job of staying true to the book, but shouldn't have sped through the groundwork for the relationship. They removed the witty dialogue between the couple and turned them into two angst-ridden teens that can't be together, but have to for some reason.
