Seen it again today. I've been waiting to watch it on the big screen ever since I heard that it was being made into a movie. It wasn't a neccessarily a "let-down", but neither was it an "above expectations." It had it's funny points, it's slightly exciting points, but to be completely honest, I found today's audience's reaction to the film a bit over-exaggerated. The movie itself wasn't bad, it's just that after reading the book, it fell slightly short. I still liked the movie though. I'd still want to see the next one(s) and I'll probably be in the same hype for them as I was for this one. It's just that there were somethings that could've been done better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
