Loved the book, HATED the movie! Why do screenplay writers and/or directors think they can improve on a book? Edward was all wrong - strange, staring, scary. Bella was unrecognizable from the book . Jacob was hideous. Jasper...won't even comment on that one. The "spider monkey" line - where the h&(^& did that come from? Edward would NEVER have taken clumsy Bella to the top of a tree. The meadow see was massacred. I could go on and on...
There were too many changes from the book - big and small. I CAN'T believe that Stephenie Meyers was pleased with the movie. What was she thinking? Don't waste your money - don't go. Stay home and curl up with the real Edward in the book!
No, I do not recommend this movie.
