Twilight was such a great book that I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in how it transitioned into film. Such a serious book about a forbidden, dangerous love, the movie was a bit hokey at times. The love story was far-fetched at best and hard to believe. The entire story seemed all over the place. I went in with an open mind - optimistic even; I'm sorry to say that I left unsatisfied. Did Catherine Hardwicke and Summit really think that this would cut it? As die hard as the Twilight fans are, we deserved better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
