First the negative: It was a little like watching a high school production. The actors who play Jacob and Rosalie didn't live up to the book's descriptions. Also, Carlisle's make-up was awful! Most of the acting was just okay and the dialogue was awkward at times.
Having said that, Edward and Bella were exactly as I pictured them, Robert Pattinson is the best eye candy I've seen in a long time! Bella's father, Alice, and Jasper were well cast. The humor of the book was well represented, it was really funny at times. If you are a fan of the book, you will enjoy this movie. I hope the sequels have a larger budget to work with, I think CGI would have made this movie much better!!
