Twilight--Worth the money

I'll start by saying the movies are NEVER as good as the books- period. With that said this was a pretty good movie. There are very few movies I will pay the high cost of theatre tickets for to see on the big screen. So it's worth the ticket price. It could have been a lot better but I was not regretful for seeing it, and I'll see it probaby 2 more times before it comes on video.
I'm not sure why they hyped up the Director so much, she didn't do anything all that great. Twilight could've been phenomenal with a different director--maybe one who did LOTR or Harry Potter. There was just so much detail left out and scenes were out of sequence compared with the book, but of course that would've made a four hour movie to stick close to the book.
