I thought the movie was good. I would want to see it again.
However, if you are someone like me who has read the book before seeing the movie, I have to admit i was mildly disappointed. So many scenes and conversations were not in the movie and the movie seemed a bit choppy, moving quickly from scene to scene, a little out of order and some things were a lot different than the book. Also, there were a couple of scenes that were a bit cheesy, like trying too hard to be dramatic.
BUT...I still enjoyed it, getting to see characters come to life and I think I would've liked it if I hadn't have read the book.
I would recommend it and I liked it. I can't wait to see the next movies based on the series!
