I have to say at first, I am a HUGE potter fan. I love the books dearly. When I go to see the film, I am wary at first and usually have to see it a 2nd time to really enjoy it. I know that this movie missed out on parts from the book, but I've began to accept that from any movie deriving from a book. However, they made the most of it, and got many of the key points. For this movie, I really enjoyed it. It was funny, seemed to appeal to all ages, and was a more lighthearted movie than the previous ones. My heart broke with Hermiones, I feared for Draco, and I laughed at Ron's inability to see things clearly.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
