Burton Let Me Down

I don't know what has happened to Tim Burton. He always relied on his unique style to draw you into his world while delivering a solid story. Unfortunately for me, it seems as though style has overtaken substance. All of the characters seemed to just be "hanging out" waiting for something relating to the weak story to just magically happen. I'm all for mixing action and comedy, but neither were done well. I really wanted to enjoy this movie, but I was never given a chance. Maybe it's time for Burton to work with some other actors. He's gone to the well one too many times.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
