I did enjoy many parts of the movie. I thought all of the actors did a phenomenal job of capturing their character. Jasper was hilarious. There were definitely some great scenes. This being said, there were still issues. Hardwicke tried entirely too hard to give the movie the 'indie' edge with all of film angles and the plot jumping from scene to scene. It didn't really work with the material at hand. Also be warned some of the script is just rediculous. There were a few too many times the whole theatre laughed and it was not with the movie, but at it. I want to love the movie, but it could have been so much better. Final note if you did not read the books you will miss out on A LOT.
