I found the movie to be really good. They did an amazing job with casting and the effects were really cool. However, if you read the book, prepare to be a little disgruntled by how they do things. I just started reading it and am now about halfway through and already the distances were alarming. What I realized though is that you have to separate book from the movie. They are both equally entertaining if distinguished as two different things. Hopefully, the movie will make watchers that haven't read the book curious and want to read it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
