This movie definitely lived up to the hype. It stayed true to the book, including keeping some lines verbatim that fans will know and love. It also included new scenes that added to the understanding of the story in a movie format. All of the Cullens were amazing, as well as Bella's schoolmates. When Carlisle first appeared on screen, an audible gasp of pleasure rippled through the theater. Watch for the Stephenie Meyer cameo! My only complaint is that the ending battle sequence was not long enough, but of course that stays true to the quick fight of the book.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
