Not as good as the book...

..but good enough to watch again. Teenage kids loved it. It's supposed to be a dramatic story but a few of the scenes were so "over acted" that much of the audience laughed. Good choice for the actors, can't wait to see the other actor's character's explored in greater depth.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
