This movie was good, not as good as the books but that's to be expected when they convert a book into a movie. My favorite character was, surprisingly, Charlie. I thought he was hysterical, the perfect comedic relief. I was a little bummed by the portrayal of Edward. He came off as a shy and awkward teenager instead of the confident and arrogant centenarian that he was written as in the book. The other part that bothered me was how rushed the romance was. I understand that it is a movie and needs to move along faster than a 500 page novel, but the building romance is my favorite part of the book so I would have liked to see a little more of it not just "poof" we're in love.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
