I think the movie was as good as it could have been- the acting, the music, cinematography, direction, etc. Everything about it was great. I just had a hard time figuring out if it would have been as good if you didn't read the books. I think you had to have read them in order to fully appreciate it, otherwise I don't think the average movie-goer would really get it. However, I read all the books and was as excited as my 13 yr old daughter about it, and I really loved it (and Edward Cullen- glad he's not really 17!!!)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
