Worth a Trip to the Movies

Twilight was opened to high expectations from a world full of Twilighters. I think it met some of those expectations. Many of our favorite quotes were seen in the movie, although not necessarily where we would have placed them. Furthermore, the theme and feeling of the book was communicated and nothing in that manner was lost in the conversion to the screen. However, the movie does feel a bit rushed as though each scene was simply stuck in to get the quotes and such in the movie, and it lacked a feeling of fluidity. I myself am an avid Twilighter and I love the books, but I think the movie achieved the best adaptation that could be expected and it is absolutely worth the trip to the movies to see, whether you read the books or not.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
