I am a huge fan of the book. I tried 2 remind myself that it wouldn't be near as good as the first book, but dang? Bella looked the part her acting was dreadful. The director/screen writer clearly had no understanding of the novels. I don't think that it could be any clearer that Summit had no idea what a huge fan base Twilight had when they bought the rights. So what was good then - Edward was super and given better direction and a bigger budget I have no doubt he will be great! The Cullen clan too! The love scene in the bedroom was better then the book! I'm just crossing my fingers that they don't skimp on the next 3 films.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
