While the movie was fun to watch with a group of friends, I was so disappointed. The chemistry was there and so was the humor. The scenes were too rushed and were very sporadic. One minute they were soaking wet, the next second they were completely dry. The editing was so-so, and the camera angles were horrible. I know Catherine was trying to make the movie "hip" but the movie strayed from the book numerous times. I'll probably go see it again just to see if it gets any better the second time. Maybe I was just so excited I couldn't take anything seriously. Also, my whole theatre was laughing the entire time. I don't think the movie was supposed to be intentionally funny the whole 2 hours. I guess I'll see if my opinion changes.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
