Decent Adaptation

I think the movie was a decent adaptation of the book. I think some of the more important scenes were left out, and I don't think Rob P. portrayed Edward as I pictured him. (charming, suave, DAZZLING!!) Yes, he is attractive, but he was angry and did not appear to just get caught up in the moment like he did in the book. I agree the special effects were not great, and more Cullens is a necessity! Regardless, I was still happy just to see it on the big screen.
I will go see New Moon, and hopefully any other they make. However, I do hope they listen to the critiques and make changes that are necessary to stay true to the series! In any event, I will support anything Stephenie Meyer!!!
