I pray that this movie grosses enough so that the special effects in the next movie are much better. Then, the characters and storyline could really come to light. I was also perturbed by the references to "monkey men" which was really inaccurate. I would only recommend this movie to those who read the book(s). However if you did read the book(s)-it is a must see.
