This film was "cute," if you don't look too closely. Bella was flat, Edward was well played, and Alice was perfectly casted. In the end, Charlie wound up being my favorite. He portrayed an awkward, yet protective father very convincingly. The movie lacked a sense of flow, appearing to be more of a series of quick episodes rather than a cohesive story. Overall, I think the way the characters read on the printed page of the book were more 3D than the actors' portrayals in the movie.
